This past Sunday, my intramural Softball team lost in the semifinals of the playoffs. In the quarterfinals, we annihilated our opponent in a 18-8 defeat; the run limit was reached to end the game after 5 innings. Our second game was not as easy. We were in the lead the entire game until the final inning when our opponents scored two runs to gain the lead 6-5. We had great hitters on our team and our defense was decent but was not enough to stop our opponents. We settled for fourth in the final scheme of things. In the end we all had a lot of fun, which is the main reason I played on the team. All I can do now is wait until the spring for intramural basketball.
